These baked crunchy cornflake chicken tenders are crispy, flavorful, and healthier than fried—perfect for quick meals or snacking.
Ingredients
1 lb chicken tenders
2 cups cornflakes, crushed
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp salt
Cooking spray or vegetable oil
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
3. Set up three bowls: one with flour and spices, one with beaten eggs, and one with crushed cornflakes.
4. Dip each chicken tender in flour, then egg, then cornflakes.
5. Place coated tenders on baking sheet.
6. Spray or drizzle with oil for crispiness.
7. Bake 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway.
8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
To keep them crunchy, reheat in the oven or air fryer.
Add hot sauce or more cayenne for spicier tenders.
