Description

This **Slow Cooker Honey BBQ Beef Brisket** is tender, juicy, and slow-cooked to perfection in a sweet and rich honey barbecue sauce. A true set-it-and-forget-it recipe that delivers bold BBQ flavor with melt-in-your-mouth texture.


Ingredients

1 medium-large beef brisket (about 5 pounds)

2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 teaspoons chili powder

2 teaspoons salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup ketchup

1/2 cup molasses

4 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/3 cup apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons cold water

1 tablespoon cornstarch


Instructions

1. Lightly grease the slow cooker and place the brisket inside.

2. Mix garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and black pepper and rub over the brisket.

3. Whisk together all sauce ingredients except cold water and cornstarch.

4. Pour sauce over brisket, cover, and cook on LOW for 10 hours.

5. Remove liquid and transfer to a saucepan. Bring to a boil.

6. Mix cornstarch with cold water and stir into sauce until thickened.

7. Shred brisket with two forks and return beef and sauce to the slow cooker.

8. Stir well and serve hot.

Notes

Sauce can be prepared in advance and refrigerated until ready to use.

Brisket is ideal for shredding and serving as sandwiches or plated meals.

Leftovers store well and reheat beautifully.
