Description
Quick, juicy garlic butter salmon fillets seared to perfection and bathed in a zesty, garlicky sauce.
Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tbsp olive oil
Optional: red pepper flakes
Instructions
1. Pat salmon dry and season with salt and pepper.
2. Heat oil in a skillet. Sear salmon skin-side down for 4–5 minutes.
3. Flip and cook another 2–3 minutes. Remove from pan.
4. Reduce heat. Add butter and melt.
5. Stir in garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
6. Add lemon juice, zest, and optional red pepper flakes.
7. Return salmon to skillet and spoon sauce on top.
8. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Use skin-on salmon for extra crispiness.
Serve with rice, roasted veggies, or mashed potatoes.
Add capers or white wine for an elevated twist.
