Description
Soft, chewy Snickerdoodle Cookies rolled in cinnamon sugar and baked to golden perfection.
Ingredients
2 large eggs
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Mix flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt, and cinnamon.
3. Cream butter and sugar until smooth.
4. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
5. Combine dry and wet mixtures until dough forms.
6. Shape dough into balls.
7. Mix cinnamon and sugar for coating.
8. Roll dough balls in the mixture.
9. Place on lined baking sheet.
10. Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
11. Cool cookies on a wire rack.
12. Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
Chill the dough for thicker cookies.
Do not overbake to keep them soft.
