Description
These Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars combine the richness of cheesecake with tart apples and sweet caramel. Perfect for fall gatherings or family treats.
Ingredients
3 medium Granny Smith apples
16 oz cream cheese
7/8 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 large eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup pecans
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup water
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch pan.
2. Peel, core, and slice apples. Toss with lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and 1/4 cup sugar.
3. Mix graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of pan.
4. Beat cream cheese and remaining sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, stir in vanilla.
5. Spread cream cheese mixture over crust.
6. Layer spiced apples on top. Sprinkle pecans.
7. Bake 45–50 minutes until set. Cool completely, drizzle with caramel.
8. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before slicing into bars.
Notes
Use tart apples for balance. Cool completely before slicing. Toast pecans for extra flavor. Make-ahead: chill overnight for best taste.
