Fudgy brownies, cherry-laced cookie dough, and rich chocolate coating come together in these irresistible Black Forest Cookie Dough Brownie Bombs.
Ingredients
1 box brownie mix
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
Extra maraschino cherries for topping
2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Bake brownies according to package instructions and let them cool.
2. In a bowl, beat together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
3. Add milk and vanilla extract; mix well.
4. Stir in flour to form the cookie dough.
5. Fold in chocolate chips and chopped maraschino cherries.
6. Scoop cookie dough and flatten slightly.
7. Place a piece of brownie in the center and shape into a ball.
8. Melt chocolate chips until smooth.
9. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and place on parchment paper.
10. Top with a cherry if desired.
11. Refrigerate until chocolate is set. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
Use dark chocolate for a richer taste.
Let the cookie dough chill before shaping.
Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
